Blue Water Science will be on Clearwater Lake next Tuesday, July 17, in order to check the areas around our DNR landings as well as the private landing on the east side of the lake. He will start at the Bob's Bay landing at 10:00 AM on the 17th and there will be one or two divers doing the checking.

Great News:

After three dives by Steve McComas and two others from Blue Water Science  doing rake tosses at the DNR landings and the private landing, no starry stonewort was found. Steve will be back later in the season to do another dive with the rake tossing folks supplementing the dive. While this is not a guarantee that the lake is SS free, it does mean that there is no significant SS growth near the landings.
